Russia’s growth fuels construction boom
Creating the infrastructure to support economic growth is a high priority for Russia and for many of its neighbours. Tunnelling is a key element of the major construction boom that is meeting this demand. Expansion of the highways network, the building or expansion of metro networks in major cities and the creation of oil and gas pipelines are all boosting the market for tunnelling and trenchless construction equipment and technologies.
Public utilities and railway projects are also contributing to a buoyant market that generates a demand for the latest communications, safety and security systems.
